If anyone being as a farmer then it is more important to know the kinds of netting processes that existed in the field. This article is focusses on the various kinds of agricultural netting and their uses. Agricultural netting can be categorized based on the purpose it is used. Generally, the netting will be used for protection purposes and even protect from the weather, birds, and animals. Also, the netting can be used to support many climbing plants.
Protection from Weather: Usually there are certain basic resources that are required for plants and crops to support their growth. Fertile Soil, Water, and sunlight are of those and all these are should be available as required the excess and shortage will affect the growth. Shortage can be balanced by providing additional sources but it is a bit difficult to manage the excess. That too the natural resource called sunlight is a bit difficult to control. The excess sunlight will cause of death of plants. Hence to control the fall of sunlight agricultural netting is used. This will not allow all the sunlight to fall over the plant and also will inhibit the UV rays from the sunlight which is not favorable for plant growth. Generally, the net made up of polyethylene is used to cover the crops and plants because it will hold all the weather conditions and is also lightweight. So that any size of land with simple support can be used to cover all the crops.
Support to Climb: Certain plants needed support to climb hence their growth will be linear otherwise their growth will be affected. Trellis netting is compensating for this where it can be used to support the plants. Since the net structure looks like the framework will be decent support to the plant to take the support from anywhere from the net. Because of its lightweight and easy handling nature, the net can be used to any length and height with the simplest support. It is proved that the yield is increased up to thirty-two percent if we use the trellis net for the climbing plants. The netting is also used to protect the plants from birds and animals.
